Professional Experience

Dorcas was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2000 after taking her law degree from the University of Benin, Benin City. She also holds a Master of Laws degree, (with specialization in Maritime and Commercial Law) from the Lagos State University.

Before joining the Firm she was an Associate Partner at Sower & Messuarius Solicitors, Lekki, Lagos state. She has also held the position of a Senior Associate at The Rock and Partners, Victoria Island, Lagos and as an Associate/Legal Assistant at Soma Chambers, Port Harcourt, Rivers State. Dorcas is an astute litigator and compliments in no small measures the depth of the firm’s litigation machinery. Dorcas is a member of the International Bar Association, an associate member of Admiralty lawyer, associate member of Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and a member of the Institute of Freight Forwarders of Nigeria.
